The Venus Project in Slovenia, Ljubjana
I must admit – when I learned we had a lecture in Slovenia, I had to look up where the county was. A visit to the centre of the country is like a trip into the past, consisting of many buildings that date back to the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries. It always looks so contradictory, though, seeing the rows and rows of old buildings with the latest electronics, or trinkets, for sale in their windows.
We were lucky enough to be visiting during the warmer time of year, so the land looked very beautiful. The soil must be extremely rich, as the landscape is very lush and, in some locations, we could see the snow capped Alps in the distance, which was an impressive site.
The lecture went very well and people came from surrounding countries; Italy, Poland, Croatia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Austria. This was very beneficial for all of The Zeitgeist Chapters, as it allowed them to communicate and collaborate with one another more intimately.
The Slovenian Zeitgeist Movement Chapter worked very hard trying to get publicity (as they do in all locations), but, once we arrived and did a couple of interviews, many others in the media showed interest and we were doing interviews non-stop. Every interview we participated in was very well received. We also had a lot of spare time to spend with the chapter members themselves. It was quite a memorable visit, as they have all been. Meeting all of the dedicated and interested people – who are actively supporting the direction of The Venus Project – has been, and continues to be, extremely inspiring.

What are we really trying to do here? Eventually this will be world wide but i like to do the easiest steps first. We are not going to have Cities like Jacque draws until we have a full RBE country/world. It would cost too much money. Our first Town will basically be multi-family buildings that look nice and are eco/green, hydroponic food growing buildings, parks, playgrounds, ball fields, basketball courts, gulf courses sort of like Telluride Colorado as an example.
In fact if we really think about it we do not need our own town right now, we start businesses first to get $, then we start buying small apartment buildings – half the units are for Z members that are working in the businesses to live for free, other half rented out to people (non Z members) to pay for the mortgage, property taxes, insurance, maintenance etc.. All profits from the businesses also pay down the mortgages quickly, buy other apartment complexes and do same, pay for Z members food and necessities etc. This way we do not have the massive expense of building a brand new town from the ground up.
What are we really trying to do? Live an RBE lifestyle, that lifestyle is living for free and working less than 20 hours a week. It really has nothing to do with building a city/town. This is a model for getting people used to an rbe system and can be done by other members throughout the USA and the world right now.
Awesome blog Roxanne and Jacque! Love seeing all those young faces wanting a better world! Keep spreading the great messages! Hey ship some of those World Tour t-shirts back to sell to your Florida friends here, ok? (um… I would be a size small
Anything to raise money for the cause. And let’s arrange a lecture in Florida after you’ve rested from this world journey. My prayers are with you wherever you are. There are angels/guides overseeing everything you do! And have a safe return home when you have successfully completed your travels.
Keep it up Jacque and Roxanne! We are bigger and bigger everyday! We love you.

From what I understand, you’re asking us how are we’re supposed to make the transition from a monetary system to a resourced based economy. But from what I can understand is that we’re not at that phase yet. We’re in the process educating people about TVP and how an RBE works. Show people how the monetary system has become corrupt and that it’s outdated. All we can do at the moment is inform people of what is going on in this world.
The monetary system has to fail in order to have the majority of the population want to see real change. Ideas like yours are what we need to figure out how we are going to make a transition but from what I can see is that by the time the monetary system fails, the line between what people want and what people need will change or come into focus. It is crucial that we educate people about TVP.
The more we educate ourselves about everything around us, the more questions we can answer when it comes time to inform people of TVP.
