The Venus Project in Lisbon, Portugal
Portugal was a quick and very nice stop. Before the lecture we felt the hall would not be very full due to the amount of tickets sold online but on the day we were pleasantly surprised. By the time Jacque and I walked into the venue it was full because there were about 150 people who bought tickets at the door. Paulo Próspero, along with many other members of The Zeitgeist Movement, worked very hard to make this lecture successful.
We also attended a wonderful dinner at the home of one of the members and on the way back to the car they pointed out a storefront location where they will be operating from to help promote the direction of The Venus Project and The Zeitgeist Movement. They are planning to obtain a not-for-profit organization license in order to acquire funding to operate. There are several chapters in other countries whose members we have met during our travels that are also planning to do this.
It was a very pleasant stop, and then we were off to Spain.
